NON-MAGNETICS CALIBRATION FACILITY
MicroTesla offers a non-magnetics calibration and non-magnetics research facility in Northwest Houston. The lab workspace provides 12K ft.2 with a non-magnetic gradient of less than 10 nT across the entire facility.
MicroTesla’s Calibration Facility has storm water detention basins on three sides and is separated from any roadway approach by more than 600 feet, which provides ample isolation from transient magnetic interference caused by trucks or cars.
MicroTesla’s non-magnetic calibration facilty consists of four (4) calibration stands, two (2) three-meter, three-axis Helmholtz coils, three (3) vibration tables and custom designed digitally controlled heater sleeves for high-temperature directional calibrations. The (2) three-axis Helmholtz coils can simulate the magnetic fields for any location globally, and each calibration stand is physically separated and aligned to ensure that no magnetic interference occurs between the stands.
MicroTesla provides calibrations with superior accuracy, and a cycle time of 10 days or less pending customer’s approval.
