History

MicroTesla was started in 2000 providing directional instrument repair and calibration services for companies running measurement while drilling tools.

MicroTesla grew from a repair and calibration service to a directional steering instrument design, engineering and manufacturing business. MicroTesla designed its own magnetometer and improved the existing magnetic calibration methods to achieve a superior magnetometer performance. We manufacture, calibrate and repair directional sensors and modules in both through hole and surface mount board designs.
